I am a senior software developer working for Optravis LLC. But I am also a big Kotlin enthusiast using, this language for production code since its GA release (Feb of 2016).
Kotlin, as you probably already know is a new language developed by JetBrains and which can be compiled to Java Bytecode.
In this talk we’ll see how Kotlin Coroutines can simplify and enhance asynchronous programming.
It will not be necessary to actually know Kotlin in order to understand this talk, but basic understanding of what asynchronous programming is and how it is achieved with other tools/languages (promises, futures, RxJava, etc.) would help.
